Handling Time

• Estimated handling time is updated daily near the top of our website.

• Handling times will vary based on order volume, during holidays, and sales events.

• Shipping confirmation emails will be delivered with the most correct updated handling time estimate.

• Please email seth@thedollplanet.com if you need to request a rush or need to confirm handling time.

• Choosing expedited shipping options like FedEx or Priority Mail does not expedite handling time. 

USA addresses:

• Free shipping on all orders with $125+ in cart.

• All orders under $125 will receive a flat shipping charge of $7.75.
  

• FedEx is delivered in 2-3 business days plus handling time. We cannot ship to PO Box addresses with this method.

• USPS Priority 2-3 day is delivered in 2-3 business days plus handling time. 

• Need Faster shipping in the USA? Message for FedEx Overnight rate quote. Cost is usually $95.
  

• Outlying US Territories May take 1-2 weeks for delivery.

International Orders Shipping Methods, Customs and Import taxes, Duties, Vat, Tariffs:

• Orders with USD $125 in cart receive free standard shipping.

• We ship to all countries. We use FedEx to most addresses, so even during postal strikes we will still ship to you. PO Box addresses can only be shipped via USPS and cannot ship during postal strikes. For remote addresses, we will choose the most affordable shipping option, FedEx or USPS, regardless of your shipping choice at checkout.

• We have worked hard to navigate through the ever-changing tariffs, customs taxes, fees and collection costs. The shipping cost to every country varies. To streamline the process, during checkout you will see a total of estimated charges to your country. After checking out and making payment you will not receive any additional charges from us. Some countries will require the customer to pay an extra fee to receive your package. We have no control over this. Please check your countries import laws and requirements before ordering.

• There are no "Cheap"  international shipping options anymore. We only ship with reliable carriers. FedEx is the most reliable and lowest overall cost for addresses outside of the United States. We ship 99% of our international packages through FedEx and 1% through United States Postal Service (USPS), only for PO Box and Remote addresses. 

• International shipping costs vary by country. Most countries the shipping cost is around USD $43.00, plus required taxes that we are required to collect at checkout.

• FedEx Economy, estimated delivery time, 4-9 days delivery plus handling time.

• USPS Remote addresses and PO box addresses are shipped with USPS 1st Class  with10-30 day delivery estimates.

• VAT, Duties, Taxes, Government fees are estimated and shown in your checkout total. The Doll Planet is billed directly for the actual tax amounts, customs fees, and disbursement fees. You will not receive a separate tax or tariff bill from us after checkout.
  

• If our shipping cost seems a little high, please understand that for every international package shipped, our total cost with shipping, customs fees, various taxes charged, tariffs and disbursement fees are typically totaling between USD $43-$60. Shipping to our international customers is important to us. We encourage you to plan out projects, and to even collaborate with nearby friends to place larger orders to help offset the high costs and to help you qualify for free shipping.

Guaranteed Delivery

• We guarantee delivery. This means that if your order is not verifiably delivered, we will reship your order for free worldwide. We do not replace stolen packages. If a delivery scan request returns with proof of delivery, we do not reship.

• If your order is scanned delivered, but package is not in your mailbox, AND contact is made within 24hrs of delivery notification, we will file a missing package report and request proof of delivery based on the GPS delivery scan. We are not obligated to reship stolen packages, however, many times the GPS scan will show delivery at an address nearby and in some cases packages have been retrieved by the carrier and delivery corrected. If the GPS delivery scan is at the wrong address and delivery cannot be corrected, we will re-ship your order free of charge.

• Wrong address or missing information like box number, apartment number, etc., we are not responsible. We can correct addresses only before we print the shipping label. 

• It is the customers responsibility to track their packages. Please contact seth@thedollplanet.com if you need assistance.

• We are not responsible and offer no delivery guarantee if customer provides the wrong address, an incomplete address, or if package is stolen.

• Return to Sender: If package is undeliverable as addressed, the customer can pay for a new shipping label to have the package re-shipped to a new or a corrected address.

• Part of our mission is to ship doll hair and rerooting kits to our customers worldwide, to expand the love of rerooting and customizing dolls across the globe. Shipping can be amazingly fast or frustratingly slow. We will continue to navigate the shipping laws and customs as they change. We will do everything possible to keep shipping as affordably and reliably as possible.
