A variety of Needle sizes are needed for rooting based on the size of the hole you are rooting. Even the same head may have a variety of hole sizes.
**If you find that you are breaking needles:
- Make sure you are using the right size needle
- Reduce the hair plug size, less is more
- Some dolls have harder heads and will require heat to soften or the tac method. If you do not soften harder heads while rerooting, then you run the risk of breaking needles faster. For the tac method use a thumb tac. Push tac in, prepare plug, remove tac, push in plug. The hole will expand preventing the needles from breaking. After 30 plus minutes the hole will shrink down.
These rerooting Needles should last for at least 2-3 heads. Please be mindful that for beginners or when rerooting harder heads, you may need multiple needles on one head.
