DG Nylon curly hair is my go to for rerooting. The hair separates easily so I know how much I need for the fullness I am going for. The hair is soft and easy to work with.
Love this hair! The shipping time was also very good!
Excellent quality and beautiful color !
This was my very first time using curly hair. I like the look and feel of the curly hair a lot!! I'm still learning and bought a variety of hair to try. I've done about 9 reroots, mostly with saran. My doll turned out okay, I had issues with uneven hair lengths, seems every time I poured hot water over her head one or a dozen pieces gets too long and runs down to her calves. I kept chopping at her hair, is this normal?
I had trouble knowing how long a stranded to use and feel certain, I wasted a lot of hair because I cut off at least half the length I used when the doll was done. I, also, had issues pulling strands out of the bundle and a couple times made a knotted mess. I've not seen anything on the internet about how many plugs to use on the doll or creating a pattern on a dolls head for rerooting for particular styles... especially, with the curly hair given the fullness it quickly creates. These issues made the use of the hair less than optimal, as I learn more and gain confidence, I'm sure my value for the hair will increase. Would love more in-depth tutorials, wink wink!
